Released on 14 April, series creator Ed Boon revealed earlier this week that Mortal Kombat X is the biggest launch in the franchise's history.
In case you missed it earlier today, it was revealed Mortal Kombat X boasts the series' first gay character, though it's depicted pretty subtly. As a result, the game thinks you're playing with Shinnok, but in actuality you look like one of the other three characters and are able to execute all their moves without hassle. In essence, he took assets located in the game's source files and renamed them so they matched the names currently used by those associated with Shinnok. XVermillion posted a couple of videos to YouTube of Rain, Sindel and Baraka in training mode on PC, along with an explanation about how he did it on Reddit. A modder has found a way to make unplayable characters from Mortal Kombat X's story mode playable, replete with their own move sets.
